You might be aware of a little problem that has afflicted the United States recently, illegal immigration. This problem is felt in our prisons (where a substantial part of the population is illegal), in our schools (with declining test scores the result), in our culture (with more and more being unable to speak English), and in our workforce (where we have basically allowed the creation of a slave class that will undoubtedly undermine this country even further in the future). But all of this can be solved with a simple solution: annexation.

Yes, my friends, the best way to stop illegal immigration is to co-opt their illegal ways with a possible illegal action of our own (but who cares, we are the strongest country in the world, make our day Luxembourg!). By taking over Mexico we could instill a greater degree of free-markets into that crony economy and protect and foster entrepreneurism.

This act would increase wages and the overall quality of life for our neighbors to our South. Action similar to this has already been done in Ireland except those who helped build up that country, the feckless EU, threw aid their way and, believe it or not, some of it stuck. With the new and improved Ireland we suffered from less illegal immigration from our neighbors to the North-East. In fact, those illegal immigrants that were here went back to Ireland. I’ve even thought about moving there because they offer a spiffy $300,000 incentive package to any technology company but that is best left for another day.

Ireland poses a problem because the countries that make up the EU weren’t able to financially benefit from the revitalized Ireland (at least directly). That is why annexation of Mexico is the best path. If… When we annex Mexico we could give a tax moratorium to any United States individual or company who brings 33% of his company to our new province. This way indigenous Mexicans can work for higher wages and learn new business skills without having to leave the place where their heart is, their home, their cultural center.

Annexation would end the practice of paying slave wages (oxymoronic, I know) in the United States because the day laborers would now become United States citizens and be protected by our laws. After the original condemnation that would doubtlessly follow such a radical move the downtrodden countries of the world will line up to be annexed. This would create a new age in the world where individualism and accomplishments are rewarded and failure is utterly destroyed. The world will be a better place because of this. If only. BigT
