Maybe some of you have noticed that I have periodically changed the look of this blog some over the last couple of weeks. I am just trying to figure out the best way to present this blog to you because I want to make you happy so you will come here more often. If you come here more often I think I’ll make more money as well. This is just capitalism at its best, isn’t it?
Some of you may also have noticed that I have been contributing a lot to NowPublic. This will continue but at a slower clip. I’ll try to keep it at a couple a day over there and I’ll keep on putting them up on this blog either before or concurrently with the posts at that site. Bare with me as I am figuring all of this out all of you readers. Just remember you read, I’m right. BigT
This was a trying week. Juggling graduate school and launching a site was hard, but I have pretty much gotten through it. So I did what I know best. Light up a Cusano Carojo and poured myself some single barrel Wild Turkey.
Figuring out all the intricacies that go along with building a blog was a lot more difficult than I thought it would but well worth the effort. Some interesting stuff happened in the news world this week. Tony Snow announced his retirement from public life. I hope he is able to enjoy a long life in front of him with his friends and family. A truly nice man.
Craig’s peccadillo was hot news because there was nothing important happening in the news this week. And the stock markets somewhat rebounded. Personally, my portfolio was up a little over five percent this month so I don’t know what the big fuss is all about. Oh, yeah, that’s right; some companies went under. As long as the government doesn’t come to the rescue the economy will be stronger.
Oh, I also got my first comment on this site. I guess my dogs aren’t the only ones reading this blog. Awesome. Some things that are not awesome would be the anti-American movies that were announced. Some other things would be the discovery of people with bombs in this country. But we persevere.
