The biggest mistake we made in the War on Terror was naming it the War on Terror. True, our enemies are terrorists but I think the term is too general and limits our options. Furthermore, how can you be at war with a tactic? This isn’t communism which insidiously creeps everywhere it can destroying all it touches. Communism is an economic/political system that could be targeted and destroyed. And there would never be a situation when we would want to employ it against our enemies. The same cannot be said about terrorism.

Our Islamo-fascist enemies are a widely dispersed and diverse (economically diverse) hoard of suicidal lunatics. Just by looking at them you can’t be sure whether they are just the run of the mill Arab who hates you or the one who is going to set a bomb off. These realities, as they are, have put our country and every other Western (and Eastern) country at great peril because the enemy is within and often aided not only by sympathetic mosques and foreign terrorist group but also by the Western welfare state. In effect we are subsidizing the very people who want to kill us.

And our reaction to this was to go into the heart of the beast and try to bring democracy to two of the biggest threats. This is working haltingly but progress is still being made. The death toll in Iraq is significantly going down and things look like they’re turning around (unless this is the quiet before the death storm). But what have we really gained?

Our real enemy, the one that poses the biggest threat to our day-to-day existence lives within our borders waiting for that coded message that will put them in the express lane to martyrdom. What do we do about them?

Like any good terrorist they have figured that if you mask yourself and hide in the crowd the only way we can conventionally stop you is to have collateral damage. Whether that collateral damage is on the streets of Haditha or in line at an airport doesn’t matter. Both set the people against those who are trying to protect them (a lot of people just can’t wrap their heads around the fact that this is for their own good). So what should we do?

I say lets bring a boat load of terror to them. Go into the radical mosques and assassinate the imam. Infiltrate terror cells and start blowing up their safe houses. Level a village that houses al Qaeda. Bring so much terror down on them that they can no longer stand it. Destroy their will, destroy their movement.

Freezing their assets is nice and important and all but how much does it really cost to send a suicide bomber into downtown Baghdad or, for that matter, into San Francisco? Not much. You have to pay for the explosives and the belt but that’s about it. A couple hundred bucks maybe? Probably less. Hell, they probably are saving money because they get to knock the variable cost of one employee off every time one of ‘em goes boom.

The only thing that is going to get through to those who are dead set on being Islamo-terrorists is going to be threats against their lives. These thugs aren’t “brave” by any stretch of the imagination. A lot of them have to chew on opium to “martyr” themselves for Allah. Get any nut job hopped up on drugs and they will become a major problem. But when they’re off the good stuff they become wimps again. Make their safe havens not so safe and see their ranks dry up.

Another terrorist tactic we can employ is to make their stay as enemy combatants a little less cozy. Stop all the glazed this and the lemon peppered that. Give them MREs. Hell, give them pork! Don’t give them Korans and prayer rugs. Don’t let them play soccer, don’t let them see the sun. Forget Gitmo, threaten to send them to Egypt.

And torture. Torture them with that horrible act of water boarding. Make them think they’re within an inch of drowning and they’ll tell you everything you ever wanted to know. They’ll probably even tell you about that first goat that they kissed. And think about using some real torture on these bastards.

Cut a couple throats in front of the other detainees and they will become a little more docile. With the continuous threat of bodily harm being threatened these cowards will lose all their trumped up bravado and have no time to think up baseless accusation like “they flushed my Koran!” Praise Allah.

Perhaps the most important terrorist activity we can all take part in is to practice some cultural terrorism. Well, that’s how those pathetic leftists are going to see it. We need to completely eradicate any semblance of multiculturalism. Multiculturalism has enabled those J-holes in our countries to reject the culture of their adopted country. You no longer have to be an American to live in America - hell, the impetus actually goes the other way. Leftists and pusillanimous republicans have ushered in a society where it is chauvinistic and crude to embrace your country. It is now impolitic to support the pledge of allegiance in many American circles and patriotism is an honorary member of the bad word club.

How are we suppose to expect Muslim youths to assimilate in a culture that is trying to commit cultural suicide? Simple, we need to insist on jingoism. America has faults, duh. That’s the lefts favorite straw man. We killed the Indians, we are hegemonic, imperialistic, uncaring, blah, blah, blah. So what? We also have the country that everyone wants to get into. We have to fight them off with an impotent broomstick at our Southern border all the time. As a society we need to learn to love our country and make everyone who comes in love this country or it will surely die.

I’m not saying practice cultural terrorism like the Saudis do when they make textbooks with Jews descending from pigs or anything like that. But is it too much to fight for a school system that elevates America to its rightful spot? Is it too much to ask for an immigration test that requires hopeful immigrants to know all the important stuff about America?

Winning this cultural war may be the most important war that we need to fight now. If we fail at it all we have to do is to look at our Continental brethren to see where we’re heading. After WW II the nations of Europe all decided that patriotism was to blame for the string of wars that had ravaged their countries. So they became nothing. They still are “French” because they don’t bathe and are pompous but they really aren’t French because they don’t believe in a France.

If we follow suit and lose our national history we will lose our country. It will be taken over by a despicable people whose goal is oppression and fear all in the name of Allah. They will take us over if we don’t change because they are actively practicing cultural terrorism. They march, they are missionaries, they teach, they do whatever they can to convert as many as they can to their faith.

We need to do the same. Embrace cultural terrorism by spreading the word of our religions, spreading capitalism, spreading what it means to be an American. Open up businesses in every country we can, beam our music to every country, do whatever it takes to convert as many as we can to the American faith.

Most importantly we need to do this at home as well. Bring back prayer to school. Make American history mandatory at all levels. Require the pledge and play a patriotic song everyday at school. Maybe we should even think about requiring service to the country for a couple of years after high school (you would have to convince me on this one). We need to develop a strategy to get people to become what it means to be an “American” again.

We need to embrace terrorism to win this war. Blow up their safe houses, make their incarceration unwelcome, and bring America as a culture back. Brutality against our enemies and confidence in ourselves is what is going to get us through this. BigT
